Boxing Kitten released its Spring/Summer collection a couple of days ago. Althougn I am not a big fan of this lookbook ,Ciaafrique's fave designer delivered again a beautiful collection of mixed ankara prints and vintage cuts. I have already seen pictures of Condola Rashad wearing a few pieces from this collection . Forget  about the lookbook what do you guys think about the collection?

 Who knew that two totally different African print fabrics would  work together. Celia L. Smith Fashion Editor at Essence.com  made me want to just grab this outfit and wear it . Unfortunately for my Boxing kitten does not make anything in my size which makes me kind of mad cuz they have some cute items. Oh well !!!!!

A few days ago I asked my followers on Twitter  if there was something out there called a tweetstalker. Because I was about to  tweet Solange Knowles at least once a day to tell her how I love her style and how i wanted her to try one of our talented African fashion designers. Many of you responded and said that she might not see it anyways and some said yes that is stalking  and some said not really . My intention was the following:

I am sure I'm not the only one currently obsessed by solange Knowles different looks. I spotted this pic on one of my fave blog naturabelle and  I had to reblog. What do you guys think of this look. Isn't he fabulous ? me lovin' it

Former destiny’s child star Michelle Williams was spotted by the crew of Boxing kitten in this lovely skirt which is of course available on their website for only $79 . The pic was taken on the set of strictly come Dancing the uk version of dancing with the stars. love it !!!!

 Singer/ fashionista   Rihanna name has been added the list of multitude  Hollywood stars spotted wearing Ankara . I am still wondering who the designer is so please  if you know who the designer is leave a comment  under this post . What do you  think ?  I  love the romper.

 As we know already Solange Knowles is no stranger to boxing kitten and she was spotted this week end in Vegas. I am really starting to like solange despite all the criticisms she is growing out her big sister shadow and she is becoming  her own person .She must be boxing kitten best customer ........ 

I have some particular blogs that I almost read everyday and Ebony intuition is one of them . I found these beautiful pics of Alicia Keys and Beyonce in boxing kitten . This is for the video shoot of their new song .  I Love boxing kitten and a presented her work on ciaafrique before. There was some controversies surrounding the fact that she does not even mention the origin of the fabrics she uses. I think she does some beautiful pieces  with the fabrics but at the same time I think these stars should use African designers as well. There are so many good ones out there. Maybe this will inspire people to an put some highlights on our  Designers.  What do you think ? 

Josephine Baker from the Us is the creator and the designer behind Boxing Kitten. According to her website she started designing when she was 10 years old. Her designs tend to be more like vintage couture. The reason why I decided to feature Boxing kitten on Ciaafrique is because she is very talented and she only uses African fabrics ( Wax Hollandais) as we call it in west Africa. I like to show my support to African talents but also anybody that uses African materials.I think she should be an inspiration to all of the designers out there to use African Fabric because we do have some nice Prints.Her clothes are worn by stars like Eryka Badu, Christina Milian, Solange, Beyonce, Fergie, and DJ Rashida.
