Emerging design label, identity by Fifi presents its debut collection titled ‘identité’ which means identity. The label purpose is to give and strengthen the confidence of the everyday woman, hence, conveying her identity, strives to create wearable, yet memorable pieces. It embraces feminine silhouettes and patterns, and drew inspiration for the collection from an ‘unusual’ set of fabric choice, in colourful Christmas hues, perfect for the holiday season.The collection is a combinations of cocktail dresses, ball dresses, and gowns for every woman (shape, and size), who is looking to stand out and look glam this season and beyond. Designer Spotlight: Wear Zulu
According to the designer Jack Hickmott,Wear Zulu is a luxury menswear brand that specializes in luxury African-print boxer shorts. The brand just launched in London earlier this month, and has been receiving significant international attention. Building on the huge popularity in African prints seen on catwalks around the world and recently at London Collections, Wear Zulu captures the vibrancy of African to provide the antithesis of traditional white briefs. Bello Edu Spring/Summer 2014 "The Bloom" Collection
Ghanaian brand, Bello Edu recently unveiled their S/S'14 Collection named " The Bloom".
Here is what the head designer's said about the inspiration behind the collection:
"We drew inspiration from the blossoming of a seed with the right care and nurture into a full petalled flower. We at Bello Edu decided it was time to show the world, how we’ve blossomed through this collection that just started as an idea, hence the rationale behind the bright colors, patterns, flowery fabric and naming this collection ‘The Bloom' "

Loobook: Ameyo S/S 2014 "Reflections" collection
According to the designers Netty Anang and Klekleli Dzidzienyot their S/S 2014 "Reflections" collection was inspired by the nature and cracks from a broken mirror.This led them to create their first print fabric design. IamISIGO IS BACK WITH A NEW A/W 14 COLLECTION "11 VOLTAIRE"
After a 2 year hiatus, Paris based womenswear brand, iamISIGO, debuts its autumn/winter 13/14 collection.The collection, ‘11 Voltaire’, was inspired by the designer’s fascination with universal laws in the moral world that are yet to be discovered in the physical world. According to the designer, Bubu Ogisi, the ’11 Voltaire’ collection was named after the arrondissement where the designer lived in Paris as well the celebrated French philosopher, Voltaire, who believed & promoted religious tolerance, freedom of expression and the separation of church and state.The collection comprises mainly of hand-painted pieces with light fabrics ranging from satin to woven crepes, semi-sheer fabrics (organza, chiffon) to metallic cotton.
