LOOKBOOK: CHRISTIE BROWN'S "XUTRA" COLLECTION
Aisha Obuobi has been and is still one of the most consistent and talented African designer. Since 2008 she has presented nothing but breathtaking collection one after the other. I think to date the Talensi collection is still one of my favorite collection .You might remember this collection from last March when it was presented at the Arise fashion week in Lagos. Christie brown just released the lookbook which I find chic and sassy with peices for everyone. Every african fashion designer should take note. A beautiful lookbook makes a difference. So what is Xutra ?

ARISE FASHION WEEK (LAGOS) REVEALS LIST OF DESIGNERS
I am so ready for another round of Arise Fashion week and I was very happy to receive the full list of the designers showing at the year fashion week . This year 77 designers from 6 continents will participate from March 6-11.
The ARISE Magazine Fashion Week – Lagos 2012 fashion extravaganza will run for an extended period of SIX days from Tuesday 6th March to Sunday 11th March 2012 in THREE tents on the grounds of the luxurious 5-Star Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria.

FASHION BUSINESS ANGOLA 2011 : CHRISTIE BROWN
Cropped jackets, pleated skirts, high-waisted pants and shorts with touch of Ankara made their way down the runway for Ghanaian fashion house Christie Brown show during the Fashion business Angola . A few the pieces were accessorized by Christie Brown signature chunky beaded necklaces. Christie Brown' s previous collections were designed for young career woman however this collection is more for the young hip modern girl . Although they switched gears a bit the designer still kept the brand identity .
