It's no secret that Beyonce loves wearing African print. I just love that she really does give a chance to the up and coming and indie designers. Demestiks New York is one of Ciaafrique fave designers. The work of Reuben Reuel designer of Demestiks has been featured on Ciaafrique several times and he was even nice enough to send me one of his designs. Shout out  to Lala for supporting African designers , you might remember her rocking this skirt from Jewel by Lisa earlier last year. Can I also say I am so proud of the women of Virgos lounge, They are really doing big things.

Miss universe 2011 Leila Lopes, walked on the stage last night during the 2012 Miss Universe Pageant in a custom made yellow gown with black accents by Liberian designer and ciaafrique's fave Korto Momolu. She looked absolutely stunning. What do you say ?

R&B Singer Alicia Keys was spotted at the KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball 2012 in LA wearing this African print top from the Burberry Prorsum’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection. We've seen celebrities  like Anna Wintour , Lady Gaga, Diggy Simmons, Solange Knowles and Kate Bosworth rocking pieces from the same collection before. Are you feeling Alicia's look ? 

 Rapper Nas was recently interviewed by complex magazine about his upcoming   tenth studio album "Life Is Good" and his new outlook on life after splitting with singer Kelis. The photoshoot  was styled  by stylist to the stars June Ambrose. As soon as I saw this picture I know he was rocking an african print shirt and was praying to god that it was from an actual african designer. After a few minutes of digging i found out that the shirt was actually by designer  Woolrich Woolen Mills. I really love the shirt on Nas. It seems like he has not aged one bit. He look like the same guy from 10 years ago.

Angela Simmons loves her Virgos  Lounge. She wore this beautiful  dress from the Virgos Lounge Resort Collection 2011/2012 yesterday at the Betsey Johnson Spring 2012 fashion show in NYC. If you remember back in January 2011 she also wore a one armed jumpsuit with sequin detail.By the way this  dress is still available here

In fact when I become rich I will make sure my closet is filled with their pieces.Spotted this pic of E!News presenter   Catt Sadler  wearing this skirt from JBL's AW 2010 collection. I think catt rocked the skirt better than the model. What do you guys think?
