Unless you've been living under the rocks the last couple of days you might have heard or read about Beyonce's controversial pictures for the french Magazine "L'officiel". To tell you the truth some people are taking this photo shoot too seriously.The thing that bothers me is this " why didn't they choose an African(or Nigerian) designers to style the singer instead of Gucci.I chose these two pictures because this are the one that are closer to a tribute to Fela Kuti (Africa)as it can gets.Where did they get this outfit from? It looks like mudcloth from Mali to me or is this part of Gucci's last collection too? No matter how you feel about this issue I think we should just focus on better things in this world than to worry about what Beyonce does to make money.Beyonce is getting free publicity , and the Magazine is known all over the world now what do we as African gets? NOTHING.I rather focus my energy on how to make my country and Africa a better place. Don't get me wrong I love Beyonce because I think she is very talented but at the same time she is human maybe this was a mistake on her part or just a way to grab our attention.
