LOOKBOOK:A STORY OF JUSTAPOSITION FROM DELABIQUE
Juxtaposition is a term used to describe sharp contrast or opposites and this is exactly what this collection represents.The element of juxtaposition is in the fabrics used to create our most recent collection. The collection comprises of ankara, European print and solid colours. By using all three contrasting fabrics and texture in just one collection, we have been able to create a unified theme which is; powerful dressing. This collection is targeted at the opinionated woman who knows what she wants and is not afraid to combine an eclectic look that fits her powerful and unique personality. AFRICAN FASHION DESIGNER: DELABIQUE
Deola Kamson is the brain behind the AFRICAN fashion label ‘Delabique’ which is fast gaining grounds in the industry with their exquisite designs.Her adoring ‘bin-bag’ collection worn by all the thirty contestants in the grand finale of the 2010 edition of the Most beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant which held in May, showcased her ingenuity. Under her magic wand for the first time ever, the ‘Style Sketch for DaViva’ a regular feature in Genevieve magazine, literately came alive in the July 2010 edition of the magazine.
