AFRICAN FASHION DESIGNER: DELABIQUE

Deola Kamson is the brain behind the AFRICAN fashion label ‘Delabique’ which is fast gaining grounds in the industry with their exquisite designs.Her adoring ‘bin-bag’ collection worn by all the thirty contestants in the grand finale of the 2010 edition of the Most beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant which held in May, showcased her ingenuity. Under her magic wand for the first time ever, the ‘Style Sketch for DaViva’ a regular feature in Genevieve magazine, literately came alive in the July 2010 edition of the magazine.
The sketches were transformed from being mere illustrations into actual garments worn on ‘live’ models. Her dream is to have her designs stocked in the big international retail stores and also to grace the catwalks of international runways and be featured on the glossy pages of international and Nigerian fashion magazines.
