SASS AND BIDE VERY "KENTE CLOTH'' INSPIRED COLLECTION: THE WINNING DAY

While making this post the other day about Lala Anthony wearing  one of  the mud cloth inspired dress from Sass&Bide I took the liberty to check out their site to see what they have going on . The collection called "winning day " really caught my eyes. A few pieces from the collection are  very kente cloth  inspired.  Kente is a  very popular   fabric that is mostly used in Ghana and Ivory coast.  Designers such as Hemma fashionsMina Danielle all use kente cloth as part of their designs.
What do you guys think about this? do you think its kente inspired ? or not ?

  1. wowza! I'll take one of each piece in this collection. I do thin it is a very modern take on kente, and I like it a lot.

  4. Is Kente 'copyrighted' and does Ghana get any royalties from designers who use our print?
