Lookbook: Farai By Farai Simoyi NYFW

Unfortunately I was not able to attend the much anticipated fashion show by British/Zimbabwean designer Farai Simoyi During 2011 New York fashion week, but Neema  (guest blogger) has agreed to give us her opinion about the show .

Collection: Madame’s Rouge, Winter 2011   

Muse: Fanny a controversial character from the 1902 French play,Sapho. 

Jewelry: Laruicci 

Hair and makeup:  A fringe, fun hairpiece and a bold red lip.

In my opinion, the culmination of all the elements (hair, makeup, music), lent to the collection a certain seductiveness that was reminiscent of the early 1900s with a modern twist of course.
