EVA DUB AFRICAN INSPIRED COLLECTION

 ABOUT THE COLLECTION
"The collection I’m currently promoting was developed in 2009following a volunteer project in North Uganda where I had the opportunity to work with an association of women who had survived the civil war and Kony rebels and had HIV or other diseases. With the support of Fondazione Corti whose aim is to raise funds for Lacor Hospital in Gulu, I designed and produced a fashion and accessory collection using fabrics that had been hand-dyed by those women and Real Wax fabrics that are easily found in Uganda. In creating the collection I mixed the traditional African style with Italian elements so as to be able to market and sell the pieces also in Italy and Europe." Source
